- The objective of this full day seminar is to facilitate identification of those at high risk for HCV, strengthen the collection and use of hepatitis C surveillance data, and provide better linkage to care so effective treatment can be offered
- Establish a system to monitor the hepatitis C screening program implementation (ie. numbers screened and number of cases positive)
- Identify a unified notification strategy and establish a system to monitor the number of HCV positive cases which are notified
- Identify referral centers and link them to screening centers. Establish a system to monitor the number of HCV positive cases seen in the referral centers and number of cases who receive treatment. For cases who do not receive treatment, reasons will be provided.
